Services We Offer at Our Sleep Center
Gwinnett Sleep utilizes state-of-the-art technology to provide patients with the most advanced sleep disorder treatments. Whether you suffer from snoring, leg cramps, or difficulty sleeping, the Gwinnett Sleep physicians can help. The first service offered by Gwinnett Sleep is a sleep medicine consultation. This can be provided in-office or as a hospital consultation, during which a board-certified sleep specialist will evaluate how patients respond to various treatments and listen to patient feedback.
Once a sleep consultation is performed, Gwinnett Sleep offers two different sleep studies, also called polysomnography, to its patients. One occurs in the office, and the other appears in the comfort of your home. The sleep studies are performed by applying small, metal disc electrodes to the head and skin with an adhesive. Breathing is measured by flexible, elastic belts on the chest and abdomen. These typically take 6-8 hours, with final reports within 5 business days.
Another service that Gwinnett Sleep offers is a CPAP Clinic. Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea, abnormal breathing and other breathing disorders during sleep. The CPAP clinic provides various services at our Lawrenceville and Duluth locations.
Sleep disorders are serious medical conditions, which is why sleep is such an important aspect of good health. Gwinnett Sleep aims to educate our community about sleep disorders at every location. All services listed can be done in each of our five offices in Gwinnett County, northeast of the Atlanta metropolitan area. For any questions regarding the services offered, contact us today by calling any of our five locations.
